Explores the literature for the application of pet therapy with children in regards to reducing verbal aggression in the classroom. Although this application has not been explored other findings in regard to the therapeutic benefit of pet therapy would hint at success in reducing verbal aggression as well. Designs a questionnaire-based experiment to assess the existing degree of pet/student interaction in classrooms and teacher interpretation of that interaction on episodes of verbal aggression.
