Considered the union of conventional psychology and neuroscience (Garrett, 2009), biopsychology examines how and why behavioral patterns occur due to activity in the brain. A pioneer in field who brought to light the connection through his 1949 book The Organization of Behavior, Canadian psychologist Donald O.
