A 5 page paper discussing the differences in
Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and Windows NT. Microsoft's apparent intention was to make
Windows use easier for the non-literate, but the observed result very often was pure frustration.
The many changes also were taking place in a rapidly-evolving hardware environment. The
purpose here is to outline some of those changes. Three aspects of changes within Windows that
most directly affect users are operating speed, required RAM and ease of overall use.
