A 6 page paper that discusses the various concerns of the
Christian counselor. Method used by traditional researchers and psychologists are
discussed. In addition we compare these strategies to the counseling techniques of Jesus
who was perhaps, the greatest counselor ever in existence. Unfortunately, due to Jesus’
unique spiritual existence, we can never hope to truly understand his techniques nor his
level of understanding and compassion. We can only use his examples as guides in
treating people with respect and understanding that each and every individual sees their
