vehicles for tumor-inhibiting compounds Recombinatory chemistry has given great hope
for highly targeted and specific drugs that will attach to only specific sites on other molecules. The eventual goal is to deliver highly specific drugs to tumors with no side effects other than those directly attributable to the shrinkage and subsequent death of the tumor, but the problems associated with liposome-based delivery systems would seem to indicate that there is another solution waiting to be discovered.
