A 5 page research paper that reports on the Lowell System and its significance to early industrialization in the US. The Lowell System refers to a “method of factory management” that developed in regards to the operation of the United States’ first textile mills, which were built in Waltham and Lowell, Massachusetts in the early part of the nineteenth century (Foner and Garraty, 1991).
