This 14 page report discusses Michael Gerson, President George W. Bush’s chief speehwriter. Bush himself chose Gerson as his writer despite the fact that most presidents usually leave that up to senior staff members. As a result, Gerson has a remarkable degree of access to the president that apparently the past several administrations’ writers have not enjoyed.
