A 5 page paper which illustrates the paradox of dramatic character in
a passage from "Oedipus the King" by Sophocles. There are many ways in which the
Oedipus presents himself as a paradox. The plot of the story itself is a great paradox. But,
the primary paradox discussed is that of Oedipus presenting himself as a king for the
people for much of the story, when in actuality he is a king for himself. Bibliography lists 3
additional sources.
