A 9 page paper which primarily examines how increased customer service efforts at Saks Fifth Avenue chains have improved the retail chain's image and greatly augmented sales at the same time. In response to a previous decline in sales, Saks has added a greater amount of accommodations for customers, stopped charging women for alterations, improved record-keeping procedures, and re-trained employees in customer service-related skills & techniques.
