Mezirow, Freire and Knowles are brought into this discussion. All of these theorists offered insights about the adult learner. The longest section in this essay explains different learning styles that have been identified in the literature, including visual, auditory, tactile, kinesthetic, the 4MAT system, Kolb's model, and experiential learning theories. Based on the foregoing explanations and discussions, a conclusion is made regarding the presenting question. Bibliography lists 15 sources.
