This may be true in theory but the truth of the matter is that a small percentage has gained far too much influence over people's lives in their ongoing quest for civil harmony. At issue is whether or not utilitarianism has a place in the framework of global civilization and if it does, to what extent is this association deemed beneficial or disadvantageous.
