Asserts that in general, as an organization grows bigger its organizational structure enlarges as well. As the environment in which the organization becomes more complex, so does organizational structure. As the technology utilized by an organization becomes more complex, so does organizational structure. At the heart of these observations, however, is the organizational culture which exists within the organization.
