This 5 page report discusses the fact that change is the only true constant that there is in the human experience. Social forces may work toward a degree of equilibrium and human beings may want to create a social order that is consistent and steady but the fact remains that there is little consistency in the nature of the world other than the continuing processes of change. The ideas relating to social change of three social theorists -- Karl Marx, Max Weber, and Emile Durkheim -- are briefly presented. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
