decades, high school students have had to perform well on their
scholastic aptitude test, or SAT, if they were to be considered
for the best college placement and advanced education
opportunities. In the past few years, college admissions
directors have come to see the SAT as less than an accurate
predictor of a potentential student’s true abilities and
potential. This paper looks at the positive and negative
