A 5 page examination of three separate films which served to change the way the film industry depicted scenes and images. These three movies are as follows: 'Birth of a Nation' (1915), 'The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari' (1920), and 'Battleship Potemkin' (1925). Each of these films presented new and impressive images that were possible through film. They were films produced in the early stages of filmdom and their methods, while changing somewhat, have essentially remained the same and been an influence for all other film makers to follow. No additional sources cited.
